Check if we can help
Four questions, about a minute
This is how we decide whether a case is ours. If your answers are yes, ask for a call. If one is a no, we will tell you where to turn.
- 01
Is the home in or near Queens?
Our office is in Flushing, and most of our cases are in Queens courts. Tell us the address and we will say whether we can appear there.
- 02
Is there a date on your papers?
A court date, a deadline to answer or a move-out date. If so, put it in the first line of your message. We look at those first.
- 03
Are you a tenant, or do you own the home?
We help both, in separate cases. Tell us which, and who the other side is, so we can check that we do not already work for them.
- 04
Can you tell us what is on the papers?
The notice, the lease and anything from the court. If you don't have them, tell us what you remember and we will work out what to ask for.
How it works
What happens after you reach out
- 01
Step 1: You tell us what is going on
A short message or a call, in English or Spanish. Put any date first.
- 02
Step 2: A lawyer reads it and gets back to you
We check that we can take it and that we do not already work for the other side.
- 03
Step 3: We talk, and we put the fee in writing
On the phone or at the office, we say what usually happens, what we would do and what it costs.
- 04
Step 4: You choose
If you hire us, the plan and the fee go in one agreement. If you don't, you still know which dates matter.
Ready to tell us yours?
A few lines are enough. We write back, or call, in the language you chose.
